The Cure have always been a big inspiration to me, and this song especially. There's something really enchantingly spooky about their stage presence, they make it seem almost effortless. The lyrical workings of front man Robert Smith are second to none and provide such a high mark for song writers today. You can feel the emotion flowing with every note. Absolutely beautiful.

Paint
So, being the super sweet girlfriend that I am, I decided to paint a canvas to remind my boy just how much he means to me. I'm not what you would call an arty person, but starting university has really made my creativity flow and I've decided to embrace this. I've always wanted to do something like this and I'm crazy happy with the outcome! Real excited to see where this creative spark takes me!

Ready to Start
There's something really captivating about this video. Whether it be the raw passion shown on stage or the intensity of the crowd it never fails to give me goosebumps. Arcade Fire have always been a band notorious for their skill to turn something simple into a musical masterpiece. Both lyrically and musically their talent can not be faulted and this video is just a snippet of how they create beauty in music.
